When Julie Jordan a young mill worker, meets Billy Bigalow the handsome barker for Mrs Mullin’s carousel, their love blossoms. Determined to provide for his unborn child, Billy takes part in an ill-fated robbery. With an emotional and gritty look at relationships, the poignant story of the faithful Julie, and her brutish love Billy Bigalow, this is one of the most powerful books of the musical theatre. It’s musical score is one of the most celebrated of all time.

Featuring songs such as “If I loved you” the toe tapping “June is Bustin” and the world famous “You’ll never walk alone”, Carousel brings a sense of hope and dignity in this dramatic testimony to the power of love.
